Support the 8th Grade Capstone Trip!

Donate to the 8th Grade Trip
After eight years of hard work and many obstacles overcome, The Albina Mandarin Immersion Program’s 8th grade class is planning their trip abroad scheduled for this Spring!

Albina Mandarin Immersion Program (MIP) students begin studying Mandarin in kindergarten. They have a capstone trip to Taiwan in 8th grade, immersing themselves in the language and culture - including home stays and classroom visits.

All funds received will be earmarked for the research residency trip made by 8th grade students in the Albina MIP. Their goal - to raise $30,000 to cover trip expenses and ensure every student is able to go regardless of ability to pay.

Your donation to Jin Ren (a 501c3 nonprofit) is fully tax deductible.

Any unspent funds will seed future Albina MIP 8th grade class trips - building a tradition of inclusion and opportunity. You can help ensure that this opportunity and experience will be in-reach for all Albina MIP students!
